Almuñecar has no less than eleven different beaches, some of which are especially suitable for families with children as there’s also an aqua park by the sea
Almuñecar is located directly on the Mediterranean Sea, with a panoramic coastline, sheltered bays and beautiful rock formations with still untouched beaches and breathtaking views. The immediate surroundings offer interesting attractions, sights and nightlife. Almuñecar is also an ideal holiday destination, for young and old.
Almuñecar itself has a lively old city centre with small narrow streets and many café-bars and restaurants. Experience the beauty of the mountains meeting the coast with its many beautiful beaches, the sunshine and a rewarding climate that never gets too hot nor too cold, the low cost of living and the proximity to the large, culturally rich cities of Granada and Malaga. Inland from the Costa Tropical you find yourself in the Lecrin Valley, one of the most naturally striking and beautiful regions in Spain.
Wining and dining in Almuñecar
Classes start every day at 11.00. Before that time you can have a quiet breakfast in one of the cozy restaurants or beach bars. Between 14.00 and 18.00 (after which the hands-on sessions start) you have ample opportunity for relaxation and the consumption of a meal. These costs are also self-evident. In Almuñecar you can eat relatively cheap: coffee with toast costs about €3 and for a three-course menu you will pay around €10. A beer with tapas costs on average € 2.
